About BestBrandsList
BestBrandsList publishes free, independent guides to the official customer-satisfaction surveys that major US restaurant and retail chains print on their receipts — what each one actually rewards, the rules the operator publishes, and the exact steps to complete it.
Who runs this site
BestBrandsList is an independent publishing project, not a company owned by or connected to any brand featured here. Guides are researched, written, and reviewed in-house by our editorial team rather than by individual freelance contributors, which is why articles carry a team byline instead of a personal one. Editorial decisions — what we cover, what we say about a program, and what we correct — are made by us alone. No brand pays for coverage, and no brand reviews our guides before publication.
How we research a survey guide
Every guide starts at the operator's own survey portal. We read the welcome page, the published rules, and the privacy and terms links that the survey provider — often a third-party research firm such as Service Management Group or InMoment — puts on the site itself. Where a brand publishes a specific rule (a code length, an entry limit per location per month, a language option), we take it from that source and cite it. Company background comes from the brand's own corporate pages and from encyclopedic references, which we list at the end of each guide.
What we will not do
We do not invent reward amounts. Many survey-guide sites state a single nationwide prize for a program that has no single nationwide prize — McDonald's, for example, is roughly 95% franchised, so the offer printed on your receipt varies by location. Where a figure is widely repeated online but not published by the brand, we say so in the text rather than presenting it as official. We also do not claim to have completed surveys we have not completed, and we do not publish reviews or testimonials that did not come from a real person.
Accuracy, dates, and corrections
Receipt survey programs change often: rewards get swapped, redemption windows shorten, and portals occasionally shut down entirely. Each guide shows the date it was published. When we re-check a program against its official source we add a review date to that guide, so a guide without one has not been formally re-verified since publication — treat the printing on your own receipt as the authority in every case.
If you find something outdated or wrong, email hello@bestbrandslist.com. We read every correction, check it against the official source, and update the guide when it holds up. Corrections are the fastest way this site gets better, and we would rather hear about a mistake than leave it up.
Trademarks and independence
Brand names, logos, and survey portal names referenced on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used here for identification and commentary only, in the way a consumer guide refers to the products it covers. BestBrandsList is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any of them, and we never ask readers to submit survey codes, receipts, or personal details to us. Always complete a survey on the brand's own official website, reached from the address printed on your receipt.
How this site is funded
BestBrandsList is free to read and does not require an account. We intend to fund the site through advertising and clearly-marked sponsored content. Any post that we are paid to publish will say so plainly, and any paid link in it will carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, in line with FTC disclosure guidance and Google's link policies. Paid placement never buys a position in an editorial guide, and it never changes what we say about a survey program.
