The Wayback Machine's most recent archived capture of the site is dated May 27, 2024, with nothing after that. Red Lobster's own website linked to no receipt survey when we checked; its contact page instead invites guests to send feedback through a form. The domain itself is still registered through May 2027, so this is not a case of an expired address being taken over by an unrelated party — it simply is not serving a survey. Below is what we could verify, what we could not, and what to do instead.

About Red Lobster
Red Lobster opened its first restaurant on January 18, 1968, in Lakeland, Florida, founded by Bill Darden and Charley Woodsby as a seafood-focused casual dining concept. While Red Lobster was long associated with Darden Restaurants (which is also Olive Garden's parent), Darden sold Red Lobster in 2014, and the chain has operated independently of Darden since then. Red Lobster filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2024 and exited that process in September 2024 under new ownership, RL Investor Holdings — an entity backed by funds affiliated with Fortress Investment Group along with co-investors — with Damola Adamolekun installed as CEO and a stated investment commitment of over $60 million toward restaurant renovations. What We Checked, and What We Found
Because we do not want to leave readers guessing at how firm any of this is, here is exactly what we looked at on August 2, 2026 and what each check returned.
- The survey address over HTTPS. Both www.redlobstersurvey.com and redlobstersurvey.com refused the connection outright. There is no secure listener answering on that address, which by itself means no one should be typing a receipt code into it.
- The survey address over plain HTTP. A page did come back, but its only identifying content was the domain name itself. There was no survey form, no Red Lobster branding, and none of the market-research company attribution that a legitimate brand survey portal normally carries in its footer.
- Archived history. The most recent Wayback Machine capture of the site we could find is dated May 27, 2024. Queries for late 2025 and for 2026 return that same 2024 capture, which indicates the site stopped being reachable to crawlers well before this review.
- Red Lobster's own website. Neither the homepage nor the contact page linked to a receipt survey. The contact page instead invites feedback through a form with categories for praise, suggestions, questions, and issues or concerns.
- Domain registration. The domain was created in 2001, is registered through May 21, 2027, and its record was last changed in May 2026. So it has not lapsed and has not been picked up by a third party — it is simply not serving a survey.
What we could not establish: any official Red Lobster statement that the Guest Satisfaction Survey has ended, and any replacement survey address. We searched for both and found neither on a primary source. Everything still promoting this survey online that we found traces back to third-party survey-aggregator blogs rather than to Red Lobster. That is why this page stops at "we could not reach it" instead of "the program is dead."
What the Survey Reportedly Offered
For the record, and clearly labeled as unverified: third-party guides tracking the program described completing the Red Lobster Guest Satisfaction Survey as an entry into a sweepstakes for a chance at a $1,000 grand prize, or one of 100 separate $50 prizes. We were never able to find those figures in an official rules document, either when this page was first written or on re-check — and those same third-party sources do not even agree with each other on whether the drawing was weekly or monthly, which is a good sign that none of them were reading from an official source either. Treat all of it as historical hearsay rather than a current offer. We found no evidence of a guaranteed discount coupon tied to this survey at any point; the descriptions we saw were consistently sweepstakes entries, meaning a chance to win rather than a promised reward.
The receipt code was reported to be 13 digits, and the survey was described as available in English and Spanish, with eligibility limited to legal residents of the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico aged 18 or older. We are recording those details because they may help you recognize an older Red Lobster receipt, not because we can confirm any of them are currently in force.
