Belk Survey Guide: Is BelkSurvey.com the Official Belk Survey?
Belk does run a customer survey — but the address most search results send you to is not the one Belk publishes. On its own customer service and Contact Us pages, Belk invites shoppers to “Tell Us How We're Doing” and links that invitation to a Belk-branded survey hosted at survey.medallia.com. We found no link from any Belk page to belksurvey.com, the domain that dominates the search results for this keyword, and we could not load that domain at all when we checked on August 2, 2026. This guide covers what Belk actually publishes, what it does not, and how to send feedback that reaches the company.

Is BelkSurvey.com the Official Site?
We could not confirm that it is, and three separate checks pointed the other way.
- Belk does not link to it. The survey invitation on Belk's own customer service page and on its Contact Us page points to
survey.medallia.com. Neither page, nor any other Belk page we could reach, mentions belksurvey.com. - The address the guides print does not exist. Almost every third-party page for this keyword tells readers to visit
www.belksurvey.com. That hostname returned no DNS record at all when we queried it on August 2, 2026 — there is nothing for a browser to connect to. - The bare domain would not load.
belksurvey.comwithout thewwwdoes have DNS records, but our request to it failed during the secure-connection handshake, so we could not see what, if anything, it serves. We are not able to tell you it is safe, because we were never able to open it.
None of that proves the domain is malicious. It does mean nobody has shown that Belk operates it, and that the specific address being circulated for it is dead. Until Belk itself links to a branded survey domain, the safe route is the one below: start at belk.com and follow the link the company publishes. If you want a general rule for checking any survey address, we keep one here: how to spot a fake survey site.
Belk Survey Reward
Belk advertises no reward for taking its survey. The entire invitation on Belk's own customer service pages reads: “Tell Us How We're Doing. It only takes 3 minutes to take our survey.” No gift card, coupon, validation code or sweepstakes entry is mentioned there, and the survey page that link opens showed no prize offer either when we loaded it on August 2, 2026.
The $500 Belk gift card sweepstakes promoted by unofficial survey-guide sites is not something we could verify. Those pages do not even agree with each other on the basic terms — some state you must complete the survey within seven days of the purchase date, others say three days — and none of them links to an official Belk sweepstakes rules document that a reader can actually open and check. We found no such document published by Belk. Until the company publishes one, treat the $500 figure as unconfirmed.
If your paper receipt prints a specific survey address or a specific offer, that printed information comes from Belk itself and is more current and more reliable than any third-party page — including this one.
Survey Rules & Requirements
- Belk publishes almost nothing about this survey. The only detail on Belk's own site is that it “takes 3 minutes.” There is no published eligibility age, entry limit, completion deadline or prize.
- No official rules document exists that we could find. The terms quoted around the web — 18 or older, US residents only, one entry per receipt, employees excluded — come from third-party guides, not from Belk, so we cannot confirm any of them.
- Keep your receipt with you. The survey form renders in the browser, so we could not capture its exact fields from outside, but retail receipt surveys normally ask for a store or transaction number and the date of your visit.
- belksurvey.com is not linked from anywhere on Belk's website. When we tested it on August 2, 2026, the
www.belksurvey.comaddress that most guides print did not resolve at all, and the barebelksurvey.comdomain failed to complete a secure connection. We could not confirm it as a Belk property, so do not enter personal details there. - The link Belk publishes points to Medallia's domain, not Belk's. That is normal — Medallia is a customer-feedback platform used by many large retailers — but it means you should reach the survey by following the link on belk.com rather than typing a survey address you found in search results.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open Belk's official customer service page at belk.com/customer-service or its Contact Us page and find the “Tell Us How We're Doing” block. Starting from Belk's own site is the only way to be sure the survey you open is the real one.
- Click “take our survey.” The link Belk publishes opens survey.medallia.com/?-tell-us, which loaded a Belk-branded survey page when we checked it.
- Have your Belk receipt within reach before you start, in case the form asks for a store number, transaction number or visit date.
- Answer the questions about your visit or order. Belk estimates the whole thing takes about three minutes.
- Do not expect a coupon or validation code at the end — Belk advertises none. If a specific offer does appear on the final screen, follow the instructions printed there rather than anything you read elsewhere.
- Prefer to speak to someone? Belk publishes 980-447-5442 for general customer service (Monday–Friday 8AM–8PM ET, Saturday–Sunday 10AM–7PM ET) and 1-800-669-6550 for the Belk Rewards+ credit card (Monday–Saturday 8:30AM–7PM ET).
- Before typing your name, email address or card details into any survey page you reached through a search engine, run through our checklist on how to spot a fake survey site. It takes about five seconds.
About Belk
Belk was founded in 1888 by William Henry Belk in Monroe, North Carolina. The first store opened under the name “New York Racket” before becoming Belk Brothers, and the company has been headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina ever since it outgrew Monroe. It is long described as the largest privately owned department store chain in the United States, trading mainly across the Southeast. Wikipedia records 293 stores in 16 states as of 2019, with North Carolina (65), Georgia (45) and South Carolina (35) accounting for the largest share.
Ownership changed hands in the last decade: the private equity firm Sycamore Partners completed its acquisition of Belk on December 10, 2015, and on February 24, 2021 Belk completed a “pre-packaged, one-day” Chapter 11 reorganization that brought in $225 million of new capital and cut roughly $450 million of debt, after which KKR Credit and Blackstone Credit also took minority stakes.
That background matters for the survey question. Department stores tend to centralise feedback through a single corporate platform rather than printing a per-receipt survey code the way fast-food chains do, which is why Belk's survey sits behind a Medallia link on its customer service page instead of on a memorable branded domain. The absence of a catchy portal address is exactly the gap that unofficial “belksurvey.com” pages have filled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is BelkSurvey.com the official Belk survey site?
We could not confirm that it is. Belk's own customer service and Contact Us pages link their survey to survey.medallia.com, not to belksurvey.com, and we found no link to belksurvey.com anywhere on Belk's website. When we tested the domain on August 2, 2026, www.belksurvey.com did not resolve and belksurvey.com itself failed to complete a secure connection, so we could not even see what it serves. We do not recommend entering personal information there.
Where is the real Belk survey?
Go to belk.com/customer-service (or the Contact Us page) and click “take our survey” under the heading “Tell Us How We're Doing.” As of August 2, 2026 that link opens survey.medallia.com/?-tell-us and loads a Belk-branded survey.
Can I win a $500 Belk gift card for taking the survey?
We found no official Belk sweepstakes offering this. The $500 figure appears only on unofficial survey-guide pages, which contradict each other on the completion deadline and do not link to any rules document published by Belk.
Do I need a receipt to take the Belk survey?
Belk does not state a receipt requirement in the invitation on its customer service page. Have your receipt with you anyway, since the form may ask for a store number, transaction number or visit date.
How long does the Belk survey take?
Belk's own wording is “It only takes 3 minutes.”
How else can I contact Belk about a visit or an order?
Belk publishes 980-447-5442 for general customer service, open Monday to Friday 8AM–8PM ET and Saturday to Sunday 10AM–7PM ET, and 1-800-669-6550 for the Belk Rewards+ credit card, open Monday to Saturday 8:30AM–7PM ET. A contact form is available on the same customer service page.
Will you update this page if the Belk survey changes?
Yes. We re-check the portals we link to on a schedule, and we treat this one as a status page rather than a fixed walkthrough. If Belk launches a branded survey domain or publishes sweepstakes rules, we will rewrite this guide. If you have a Belk receipt that prints a working survey address, email us and we will verify it.
